1. What are cookies?

When you use our online services, cookies and other tracking technologies may be used in a variety of ways, for example, to give you the best experience on our website. Cookies are used on all websites owned by our company. Our company uses cookies and other tracking technologies such as web beacons, pixels, tags and APIs. A cookie is a small text file that is placed on your computer browser or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the website that created them or to other websites that recognize the cookie on each subsequent visit, creating a record of the user's online activity. In addition, there is a difference between session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies exist only until you close your browser. Persistent cookies have a longer lifespan and are not automatically deleted when you close your browser. We try to serve cookies or enable a cookie service with a maximum lifetime of 5 years. Only in exceptional circumstances, for example for security reasons and in cases of absolute necessity, will a cookie have a longer lifespan.

2. Use of cookie files Cookies are used for different purposes.

They allow you to be recognised as a single user on different pages of a website or between websites. The information we collect through cookies may include, but is not limited to: - your IP address; - the date and time you use our Services; - information about your software and hardware; - information about the browser you use; - information about the operating system of the device that uses our Services, such as the latest application versions and language settings; and - activity logs.

2.1. What cookie files do we use?

Required cookies: Cookies can be essential or non-essential, with essential cookies being used only to enable or facilitate network traffic or are strictly necessary to provide the online service you have requested. For these types of cookies, as set out in the relevant legislation, we do not need your consent to collect these cookies.

Technical cookies: We strive to provide our visitors with a sophisticated, user-friendly website that automatically adapts to the needs and desires of our visitors. To achieve this, we use technical cookies to display our website, make it work properly, create a user profile, log in and manage your activities. These technical cookies are absolutely necessary for the proper functioning of our website.

Functional cookies: We also use functional cookies to remember your preferences and help you use our website efficiently and effectively (for example, these cookies remember your preferred currency, language, searches you have made and your previous settings). These functional cookies are not strictly necessary for the operation of our website or applications, but they do enhance functionality and improve your gaming experience.

Analytical cookies: We use these cookies to understand how visitors use our website. This means we can find out what works and what doesn't, optimise and improve our website and understand the effectiveness of our advertising and communications. The data we collect may include the websites you have viewed, the pages you have been referred to/viewed and logged into, the type of platform you have used, the emails you have opened and responded to, and date and time information. This also means that we may use details of how you interact with the website, such as the number of clicks on a particular page, mouse movements and scrolling, search terms used and the text you enter into different fields. We use analytics cookies as part of our online advertising campaigns to see how users interact with our website after viewing an online ad (this may include ads on third party websites). Analytical cookies may also be used so that our business partners can see whether their customers are taking advantage of offers embedded on their websites. In addition to our own cookies, we use Google Analytics (including the User ID feature), Segment.io and their analytics services to make our website more enjoyable and better.

Marketing and advertising cookies: We may use these cookies to personalise the ads we show you. This helps us measure the effectiveness of our ads. We share some of the information collected through cookies with third parties we use for advertising services. We use third party cookies to collect information about players such as IP addresses, user ID, location, device, browser and frequency of visits.

The third party collects this data and then provides us with anonymous information about the players who play on our website, which we use to shape our marketing campaigns and for analysis. Please note that we do not have access to this data on an individual level, i.e. we only have access to anonymised aggregated data.

3. How to manage the use of cookies

In the settings of browsers such as Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox or Chrome, you can set which cookies to accept and which to reject. Where you find these settings depends on the browser you are using. You can find the necessary settings in your browser using the Information/Help function. If you choose not to accept certain technical and/or functional cookies, you may not be able to use some features of our website. We do not currently support the "Do Not Track" browser setting.

In the event that a common standard is developed that defines exactly what browser "do not track" signals mean, we will re-evaluate this cookie policy. To control the collection of data for analytics purposes through Google Analytics, you can visit the following link: Google Analytics Browser Add-on Opt-out (desktop only).

The Google Analytics Opt-Out add-on is designed to be compatible with Chrome, Internet Explorer 11, Safari, Firefox and Opera. To learn more about cookies and how to manage or delete them, simply visit the information/help section of your browser.
